Created in the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion
Local artist Gideon Rockwood designed this elegant ornament inspired by the Art Deco style. Using hot glass and skilled lampworking techniques, he expertly captures the beauty and grace of a gazelle. Gazelles can be found throughout TMA's world-renowned collection, most notably in Paul Manship's sculpture Dancer and Gazelles. Each ornament has been delicately hand crafted in the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion.
Due to the fact that each ornament is individually hand crafted without a mold, slight variations in the size and shape of the ornament will occur.
The proceeds from your purchase help support the Toledo Museum of Art, a private nonprofit organization.
